Mains of Rhynie
A Class I symbol stone featuring a Pictish beast above a crescent and V-rod and mirror stood at Mains of Rhynie in the 18th century, however it was broken up in 1803 for use as building materials. It was further broken in 1826 and no traces of it can be found. A smaller fragment was taken from the former schoolhouse and built into the wall of a barn or stable but was no longer visible by 1903.
