Dunnicaer 5
This Class I symbol stone was found in a rough wall on Dunnicaer fort in 1832 along with Dunnicaer 1, Dunnicaer 2, Dunnicaer 3, Dunnicaer 4 and Dunnicaer 6. The stones were thrown over the edge of the cliff into the sea but were recovered from the beach in 1858. Dunnicaer 4 was taken to the Marischal Museum in Aberdeen while the rest were taken to Banchory House (NJ 91561 02468).
