Easter Ogil was a castle belonging to the Lyon family but nothing of it now remains.
The lands of Easter Ogil were owned by the Lyon family from the 14th century.
E: ogill is marked as a two storey tower with pitched roof on Pont’s late 16th century map.
I have placed the site of the tower at Easter Ogil House, built in the mid-19th century, pending further research.
