Tullynessle Tower

Patrick Forbes of Carse, the Bishop of Aberdeen (1564 – 1635), had a tower in the parish of Tullynessle which he used as his summer residence.

All that remains of the buidling is a stone in the wall of a barn bearing the arms and motto of the Forbes.
