Tillytarmont 2
This Class I symbol stone was discovered while ploughing a field called Donaldstone Haugh on North Tillytarmont farm in 1944, on a promontory at the confluence of the Isla and Deveron. It is one of five stones found in the same field in the vicinity of a square cairn, the others being the Goose Stone, Tillytartmont 3, Tillytartmont 5 and Tillytartmont 6.
The stone, which is carved with a crescent and V-rod above a double disc and Z-rod, is now in the grounds of Whitestones House at NJ 5297 4705.
