Tarbat 221
This carved fragment of stone features a Pictish beast and is known as stone TR221.
It was found during excavation in the Glebe Field to the east of the parish church in Portmahomack and it has been speculated that it might be a fragment of the so-called Cross C (which may originally have stood at NH 91468 84044 to the north of the church).
The stone is now on display within the Tarbat Discovery Centre in the church.
