Eilean na Faoileag
Eilean na Faoileag is a crannog at the south end of Loch Glass.
The island measures around 17m north to south by around 13m east to west, and is irregular in shape. Its surface is made up of piles of boulders, and it certainly has the appearance of having been enhanced by Man, if not constructed entirely.
It is said that the Munro lairds of Foulis built a summer-house or defensive building on the island at some point in history. This may be the Keane Castle which appears on some 16th century maps.
