Arboll

Gordon 20: Tarbet Ness, Easter Ross
Timothy Pont, c.1583 – 1614image courtesy of NLS

Arboll was a castle that was extant in the late 16th century but nothing of it now remains and its exact location is lost.

I have placed it at Arboll House, the “new Mansionhouse of Arboll” built in the 18th century and seemingly reusing “old vaults”, pending further research.
