Logie Elphinstone 2
Three Class I symbol stones stand in woodland around 30m north of the drive to Logie House some 160m west of the house. They were found lying horizontally on the Moor of Carden along with a fourth stone and were later built into an enclosing wall when the moor was planted.
The stone, known as Logie Elphinstone 2, seems to have been carved a two different times. A faint double disc and Z-rod was probably carved first, and was superimposed with a crescent and V-rod and a double disc and Z-rod. Above these symbols is an Ogham inscription arranged in a circular fashion.
