Pirn

Joan Blaeu, Amsterdam, 1654map image courtesy of NLS

Pirn House was an early 18th century mansion which may have been built on or nearby the site of the tower of Pirn which is marked on Blaeu’s mid-17th century map. The house was demolished around 1952 and the site is now occupied by a modern school.
