Newbyres Castle
Newbyres Castle was built in the mid-16th century as an L-shaped tower, but is now in ruins.
In the early 20th century the walls of the main block were still standing, and the foundations of the south wing could still be seen, but now all that is left is a 4.0 metre tall section at the north-east of the tower, and a pile of overgrown rubble.
