Keith Hall

Keith Hall as it is today came into existence some time after 1662 when a Renaissance mansion was added to the front of the castle of Caskieben, which dates to the 15th century.

This castle may itself have incorporated parts of the 13th century tower that was built some time after Norman de Leslie received the lands of Caskieben around 1224. His stone tower replaced the earlier wooden tower on the nearby moated site of Caskieben.
