Burnetland

A map of the Clyde and Tweed basins
Robert Gordon, c. 1636 – 1652map image courtesy of NLS

Burnetland is thought to be the site of a tower belonging to the Burnet family, although nothing of it now remains.

I have placed the location at Burnetland farm pending further research.

The Burnets of Burnetland acquired Barns Tower in the 16th century.
