Inveravon 1
This Class I Pictish symbol stone once stood against the south wall of Inveravon parish church but now stands within the porch along with three other stones, Inveravon 2, Inveravon 3 and Inveravon 4.
Measuring around 1.5m tall by around 0.9m across, the blue slate stone is carved with a decorated mirror case below which is a large eagle. To the right of the eagle are a smaller mirror and comb.
Similar combinations of symbols occur on other Strathspey stones at Arndilly and Dandaleith.
