Hunthill
Hunthill House is a 19th century mansion which incorporates parts of a 16th century tower house.
In the 17th century Christian Rutherford of Hunthill married Sir James Lumsdaine of Airdrie, who held a commission as a Colonel in the army of Gustavus Adolphus, King of Sweden. In 1635 she was infeft in an annuity from Invergellie, presumably while her husband was serving abroad.
The gate piers at Hunthill were brought from Hartrigge.
