House of Kelly (site of)

The ancient House of Kelly is believed to have stood on this site.

It’s thought that the foundations of an old building – with walls some 3.5 metres thick – found by workmen in 1890 during the construction of a large hall to the south-west of Haddo House may represent this earlier fortified tower house.
