Delgatie Castle

This 16th century castle is thought to have been built by a master mason who was also responsible for three other castles in the area – Craig Castle, Gight Castle and Towie Barclay Castle.

In 1519 Alexander Hay of Delgatty was granted the lands of Ardendraught, with the tower and fortalice, by John, Lord Glamis.
