Barrachan (site of)

Barrachan was a tower which was extant in the 17th century but nothing of it now remains.

The tower is marked as Barchraichan on Blaeu’s mid-17th century map of Gallovidiae, based on Pont’s late 16th century work.

I have placed the site of the tower at Barrachan farmhouse pending further research.
