Barnbarroch Castle
Barnbarrach Castle is an 18th century mansion, remodelled in 1806, however it is thought to be built on the site of an earlier tower part of which it might incorporate.
The castle is marked on Blaeu’s mid-17th century map, based on Pont’s late 16th century work, as a tall tower flanked by a pair of shorter towers.
In 1942 the house burnt down and is now a roofless ruin.
