Couttie (site of)

Couttie was a castle belonging to the Cumming family in the 15th century.

In 1506 the sister of George Brown, Bishop of Dunkeld, was described as “the lady of Cowtye”.

I have placed the site of Couttie at Couttie Bridge Cottages pending further research.
