Appotsyde (site of)

Appotsyde was a tower which belonged to the Turnbulls in the 16th century although nothing of it now remains.

The the lands and tower of Apethsyde were granted to Francis Hamilton, son and heir of James Hamilton of Apethsyde, in April 1610.
