Kinnaird Castle
Kinnaird Castle was a 15th century tower which was later incorporated into a large 19th century mansion.
The King granted in July 1629 to David Carnegie of Kynnaird and his heirs various lands including the half lands of Rynd which at that time were owned by William Barclay of Innergellie.
The old castle is now incorporated into the east wing of a new house built in the first half of the 19th century which was further remodelled in the mid-19th century to a design by the architect David Bryce.
