Garryhorn (possible) (site of)

Garryhorn was the site of a probable tower belonging to the Griersons in the 15th century.

In the 17th century Garryhorn was owned by Sir Robert Grierson of Lag, Cruel Lag, who was appointed Deputy Steward of Kirkcudbrightshire in 1678. In the early 1680s when Lag was hunting for Covenanters in the area he stationed his dragoons at Garryhorn.
