Bu Of Cairston Castle

The Castle at Bu’ of Cairston is said to have belonged to the Gordons, and may have been built in 1152 (it is mentioned in a Saga). The north-west corner of the property was modernised in the 16th century to form a mansion house.

The site is now ruinous, overgrown and used for farming.
