Wester Daldowie (possible) (site of)
Wester Daldowie was a probable castle belonging to the Scott family in the 16th century although no trace of it remains.
It is marked, as W. Dalduy, on Pont’s late 16th century map of Lanarkshire and on Blaeu’s mid-17th century map.
The site is now occupied by a landfill site constructed within a former quarry which destroyed any trace of the house and farm.
