Carslogie House

Carslogie House is a ruined 16th century tower house which was remodelled in the 18th century.

John Clephane of Carslogie was married to Isobel Strang, daughter and co-heiress of Walter Strang of Pitcorthy, in the 16th century. Following her death in 1533 or 1534 her part of Innergellie passed to her widower.

In 1549 a charter by John Anstruther of that Ilk to his wife Margaret Clephane, daughter of George Clephane of Carslogie, married John Anstruther of Anstruther.
