Broich (site of)
The old house of Broich was a fortified house or tower which was demolished in the mid-19th century.
Broich was one of the original eleven baronies in the parish of Kippen along with Glentirran, Dasher or Deshour, Shirgarton, Arnmanuel, Arnbeg, Arnmore, Arnfinlay, Garden, Buchlyvie and Arnprior.
The house seems to have been defended by a fosse or ditch and stood to the west of Arngomery House which was built around 1812. Broich was demolished in 1852.
