Menie House
Menie House is a 19th century mansion however it incorporates the remains of a castle said to date to the 15th century.
In the 17th century Menie passed from the Carnegie family to William Forbes who went on to build Craigievar Castle.
A two storey L-plan tower house which is said to date to the 18th century is incorporated into the the south-east of the new mansion.
In 2006 part of the Menie Estate was bought by Trump International Golf Club Scotland Ltd and the house is now operated as the Trump MacLeod House & Lodge hotel.
