Dougalston (site of)
Dougalston was a tower house which was replaced by or incorporated into the later Dougalston House, although nothing of it now remains.
The lands of Dougalston are said to have been owned by the Graham from the 13th century.
In the 1720s John Graham of Dougalston was a commissioner of James Graham, 1st Duke of Montrose.
The house was demolished around 1976 and a golf course laid out on the site, although it is now occupied by a housing development.
