After spending Hogmanay in Glasgow I needed to get out into the countryside to blow the cobwebs away, so headed west from Dundee today to take some snowy photos. First stop was a rather chilly Aberfeldy where a long wisp of thin mist added a picturesque backdrop to General Wade‘s bridge over the River Tay.

I then followed the Tay down towards Kenmore, stopping at Croftmoraig.

A few hundred metres further down the road are the two Newhall Bridge standing stones.

At Kenmore itself the cloud was low and Loch Tay was very still, creating an almost eerie atmosphere with hardly a sound to be heard.
