A 95m wide cursus was identified here from cropmarks appearing on aerial photos. It ran for at least 300m W – E from Curriestanes house, and at the E end there was a rounded terminal. The ditches vary in width from 2m to 5m.
Curriestanes is in the parish of Troqueer and the county of Kirkcudbrightshire.
