Brockloch Castle

Caricta Borealis, vulgo, The northpart of Carrick
Joan Blaeu, Amsterdam, 1654map image courtesy of NLS

Brockloch Castle once stood in this area, however the ruins at this site have the appearance of a later farmstead rather than a defensive building.

I have placed the site of the castle at the ruined farmstead pending further research.
