Balcorrach Castle (site of)

Balcorrach Castle was a tower belonging to the Lennox family in the early 15th century.

Around 1430 Donald Lennox of Balcorrach, legitimated son of Donnchadh, Earl of Lennox, married Elizabeth Stewart, daughter and heiress of Sir John Stewart of Girthon, who also owned Cally Castle. Donald died in 1454 and Elizabeth in 1471 and Cally passed to their son, William Lennox.
