North Scotland car hire guide
If you fly to the north of Scotland, you will arrive at either Aberdeen Airport or Inverness Airport.
Picking up a car in Aberdeen is perhaps the best way to see the eastern Highlands, and the castle-rich countryside of north-east Scotland.
Inverness on the other hand is ideally-placed to explore the western Highlands and islands, Loch Ness, and the Cairngorms National Park, or as a staging post for journeys even further north into Sutherland and Caithness.
Between these locations is Elgin, perfect for exploring the picturesque coastline of Nairnshire, Morayshire and Banffshire.
