The Drover's Inn
The Drover's Inn is a hotel, pub in Inverarnan, Argyll.
You won't believe this place! From the outside it looks like it's falling down. The only clue to the treats inside is that the car park is full, whereas the smarter pub across the road has an empty one.
Once you go into the hallway, you're confronted with all kinds of stuffed animals, a suit of armour and so on. The bar itself is chock-full of old paintings, claymores, and kilt-wearing barmen, as well as a huge log fire.
The bar food is fairly standard, although they do have haggis (and vegetarian haggis) toasties, but it's the stmosphere you come here for.
Be warned though, this place is popular, and is on the route of at least one of the round-Scotland minibus tours.
