The Stair Inn

The Stair Inn is a hotel in Mauchline, Ayrshire.

The Inn is refurbished but has retained the old country inn atmosphere. In the bar area you can have your meal sitting by the log fire (during the winter) or if you prefer you can eat in the restaurant. The rooms have country pine furniture and terracotta coloured duvet covers. We are listed in the new Hidden Inns of South West Scotland and are described as having 3 star city hotel rooms in a country Inn. We are also the only 3 star graded Inn, in the Ayrshire area Tourist Board. The Inn is only 8 miles from Prestwick Airport and the town of Ayr, our award winning Chefs will prepare a meal made with local produce and good Scottish Beef and Fish.
