This property is unusual in that it is a wooden house 3 miles from Kingussie and on the outskirts of the village of Newtonmore. The property is made up of 2 double bedrooms, 2 single bedrooms, bathroom, utility room for muddy boots, a fully fitted kitchen and dining room and a big living room. There is also a gravel garden to the side of the property, which is a lovely spot to sit out and watch the villagers go by. The house also has terrific views of the rural landscape. The whole house is decorated in a modern style, most of the rooms are painted white and there are plenty of sofas and armchairs to curl up in come evening time.

Electric central heating throughout with additional heating from multifuel stove in sitting room. Electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, colour TV, video, DVD player, music centre etc. Fuel, power and starter pack of fuel for multifuel stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot, highchair and stairgate on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Gravelled garden area. One well behaved dog welcome. Sorry no smoking. Shop and pub 10 mins.

Newtonmore is a relatively large village situated on the banks of the River Spey bang smack in the middle of the United Kingdom's largest National Park, the Cairngorms National Park. There lots of both old and new shops in the village to browse in and a good helping of country pubs dotted around too. Walkers will be happy to note that there is a wonderful 7-mile circular walking route called the Wildcat Trail, which runs around the village and takes in popular spots like the River Spey. Don't be surprised if you think you're having deja vu as you explore the village – it was used as the location for filming the hit BBC TV show 'Monarch of the Glen!
