The Hightae Inn is situated in the charming village of Hightae close to the River Annan. Our cosy family-run local hotel offers stylish accommodation as well as good beers, fine wines and great home cooked evening meals.Hightae is only a few of miles off the A74 at Lockerbie and a bit of a hidden gem. The surrounding countryside offers an abundance of footpaths, river walks and quiet country lanes. The area has been popular with fishermen and game shooters for many years with the River Annan yielding decent catches of sea trout, brown trout and salmon. We bought the establishment (formerly the Royal Four Towns Inn) in January 2008 and undertook an extensive renovation programme to bring the Inn up to the high standard you will find today.
