Were located just off the A9 (the main road to the Highlands) in the scenic village of Bankfoot in the heart of Perthshire. Being six miles north of the city of Perth and close to Dunkeld, the Bankfoot Inn is ideally placed as a base for weekends, short breaks and longer stays. We have both public bar and lounge bar with adjoining restaurant. Accommodation is spread across six comfortable rooms. The Bankfoot Inn offers a great atmosphere set in a real Scottish country inn along with great food, prepared by our chef, served in our restaurant. Our lounge bar and resturant have recently been refurbished. The new space offers a traditional and comfortable atmosphere complete with open fires, the ideal place to sample our ever-growing collection of single malts. The Bankfoot Inn is very close to the River Tay (were only 1 mile from Stanley). The famous salmon beats of Catholes, Luncarty, Stanley and Murthly are only a few minutes from our door. We cater for all fishing parties, we have facilities to freeze caught salmon and locked storage for assembled rods. Should you require, we can put you in touch with local ghillies. If youre into shooting, whether its grouse youre after or winter geese, we cater for all shooting parties. Were in an ideal position for any groups wishing to enjoy the the Glorious Twelfth. Birds can be stored in our outbuildings. For cyclists, were on Route 77 and can offer overnight accommodation. We have secure storage for bikes and equipment. Laundry and drying facilities are available. Were close to Pitlochry and can cater for groups interested in the Etape Caledonia event.
