The Bakehouse is converted from a woollen mill which was then the village bakery in a walled courtyard in the Scottish Borders village of Greenlaw. The cottage has two twin bedrooms and one double, which with the addition of two family bathrooms make it suitable for six people. The cottage also contains a kitchen with a breakfast area and a sitting room with a dining table. To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for three cars and an enclosed, terraced side patio garden with a BBQ & gated access to the river. Set in beautiful countryside, The Bakehouse is a lovely cottage for a family holiday.

The village of Greenlaw sits 12 miles over the border into Scotland, and is in an ideal location for enjoying the attractions of this part of Scotland, and over into England, where the whole of Northumbria can be easily explored. Greenlaw has amenities including shops and pubs, and is a 40 minute drive from Edinburgh, the historic Scottish city famed for its cultural festival, military tattoo and vibrant pace of life.
