The oldest hotel in Ayr, the Swallow Station Hotel is housed in an imposing, four storey Victorian building, sited adjacent to the train station and 500 metres from the beach.

The 73 guestrooms are decorated in a rich Victorian style with claret coloured carpets and fabrics and polished dark wood furnishings.
