Shieldhill is not only steeped in history and atmosphere, but is a genuine 800 year old castle, and is situated in the romantic Clyde Valley.

It has everything you could ask for on your special day. The Castle has been decorated throughout to complement the historic character and yet provide every modern comfort you would expect in a top quality hotel.

Shieldhill Castle contains 26 bedrooms, all of which are individually styled and decorated to a high standard. Each room is equipped with private facilities, television and telephone. A full room service is available. Each room is named after a Scottish battle, or whisky.

Fabulous venue for weddings from 2 to 200 guests! Small boardroom meetings to large conferences for 200 delegates. Private dining rooms, the finest cuisine and quality wines. Team building activities in the grounds.
