Sea Thistle Cottage is a traditional, stone built, terraced cottage situated in the coastal village of Gardenstown on the Moray Firth in Northern Scotland. The cottage has two double bedrooms and one single, which with the addition of a family bathroom, makes it suitable for five people. Also in the cottage are a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a multi fuel stove, and the fact there is no television adds to the restful atmosphere! Outside the cottage is roadside parking for two cars and a small courtyard with outdoor furniture. With numerous coastal villages dotted about the region just waiting to be explored, Sea Thistle Cottage will provide you with a true taste of Scotland.

Electric central heating throughout, additional heating from multi fuel stove in sitting room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, stereo/CD player, library of books and games. Power inc. in rent, fuel for stove available to purchase locally. Bed linen inc. in rent. Small court yard with furniture. Roadside parking for 2 cars, additional parking in harbour car park. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops, pubs and restaurants 2 mins walk. Note: Courtyard is divided from cottage by a public walkway to the harbour, but it is not frequently used. Note: There is no television at this cottage.

The town of Gardenstown was founded in 1720 as a fishing village. Gardenstown borders a small bay with stunning scenery flanking both sides. The neighbouring village of Banff boasts a relaxing sandy beach and Duff House, an impressive Georgian mansion open to visitors and home to paintings and artefacts from the National Galleries of Scotland. Banff also has a good selection of shops, restaurants and hotels which serve a fine selection of local sea foods.
