The Stewart Hotel is set in over 4 acres of secluded woodland gardens by the River Duror just 6 miles from the centre of Glencoe and 16 miles from Fort William – an ideal base for touring the West Coast of Scotland, the many islands, the majestic Western Highlands and the Inner Hebrides. The hotel has comfortable spacious rooms and boasts the Invernahyle Dining Room, offering the very best of local produce including fine game, meat and seafood and the lodge style Lounge Bar, with its open log fires, comfortable atmosphere and regular live local music. The area is known as the outdoor capital of the UK, with an enviable reputation for walking. Climbing, sailing, canoeing, cycling, shooting, skiing, and of course the more traditional and leisurely golfing, horse riding and fishing are also available. There are also regular trips to see the local wildlife with whale, seal and dolphin boat excursions available nearby, and the hotel is close to the Oban Sea Life Centre, Seal Sanctuary & Rare Breeds Park – all worth a visit. We also offer a free collection service from the West Highland Way for walkers.
