An elevated position commanding panoramc views over Loch Rannoch and surrounded by magnificent scenery is the setting for the delightful little cluster of cottages at Liarn Farm three of which are offered here. Skilfully converted from a former steading to take full advantage of the superb views – each enjoys a first floor sitting room with balcony – they stand on a working livestock farm. This is indeed the perfect location in which to relax and unwind – visitors may roam freely in the farm's spacious grounds and 1½ miles of loch frontage make a wonderful spot for picnics as well as for fishing. Children will love the pets' corner with Shetland ponies guinea pigs rabbits chickens ducks and Jacob sheep. Walkers and cyclists can all revel in the breathtaking scenery (cycle hire at the farm) bird watching is a popular activity in the area. A trip to the lively little town of Pitlochry (26 miles) could take in the Festival Theatre and famous Fish Ladder which is negotiated by thousands of salmon each year. Host to the Highland Games Pitlochry also boasts interesting shopping good restaurants and golf. Historic Blair Castle (20 miles) is among the attractions within easy reach. Shop pub and restaurant 6 miles.
