The Loch Shin Holiday Homes are 2 cottages situated a stone’s throw from the banks of Loch Shin. Ash cottage sports 3 bedrooms, offering ample accommodation for a group of up to 5 people. The master-bedroom features a sun deck and in the sitting-room, there is a window that offers fantastic views across the Loch and the mountains. Outside there is a small patio that leads to a shared garden in which you can enjoy a spot of al fresco dining during the summer months. In addition, there is substantial off-road parking, allowing you to drive around the region and explore the many attractions that lie beyond.

All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Shared use of large garden with garden furniture. Ample off road parking. Pets welcome. Shop and pub 4 miles.

The Loch is fed by the River Shin, renowned for its beauty and the abundance of salmon and trout that it plays host to. A walk along the Shin will take you to the famous Falls and, at certain times of year, you can see salmon leaping to their original spawning grounds. The Falls of Shin are also served by restaurants and shops. To the west you will find Loch Assynt, where you will find the ancient ruins of Ardvreck Castle. In the distance, surrounding Lairg, you can take in the breathtaking panorama that is made up of blue mountains and rolling forests. The area is famed for its wildlife and animals such as red deer can be seen throughout the year. For the more energetically-minded, there are golf-courses and many walking and mountaineering trails.
