Set in the small township of Kendram, in the village of Kilmaluag on the Isle of Skye, this traditional cottage is stone built and boasts wonderful open views across The Minch, an Atlantic sea strait. Just made for a rural getaway, the cottage is cosy and light, with sea views from many windows. There is one double room, one twin and one single, and open fires in both the sitting and dining rooms. The area offers terrific walking and climbing, some of it literally on the doorstep, and this cottage is perfectly based for enjoying the spectacular scenery of the Isle.

Electric storage heaters on the ground floor, panel heaters in the twin and double bedrooms, open fires in the sitting room and dining room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, colour TV with Freesat, DVD, library of books/games/DVDs. Starter pack for open fires and £15 of electric inc. in rent, remainder charged via £1 coin meter. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Roadside parking for 1 car with additional parking nearby. Lawned garden with garden furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 5 miles. Hotel with bar 0.9 miles or 2 miles (both have seasonal opening).
