Converted Victorian mansion house set in peaceful rural location, amidst acres of gardens and woodland, retaining turn-of-the-century interior - wall tapestries, oak panelling. Some rooms with Kingsize or Four-Poster beds. Nearby 20 golf courses, horse riding, malt whisky trail, fishing. 45 minutes drive from the centre of Aberdeen ; 40 minutes from Aberdeen airport. Cooked Breakfast served 8.00am-9.45am, Continental Breakfast earlier by arrangement. Dinner served 7.00pm-8.30pm (2-course = £28person ; 3-course = £33person) Resident proprietors Frans and Jayne Faber (since January 2008) Hotel closed 3 January - 1 February
