Karibu Cottage is a self-catering cottage in Lochgilphead, Argyll.

Boasting a wonderful location overlooking one of the locks on the Crinan Canal with great cycling and walking along the towpath this very comfortable cottage (shown far left of left photograph) makes an excellent holiday base. One of a row set in the peaceful hamlet of Cairnbaan in a corner of Arygyll famed for its stunning scenery it lies just 3 miles from Lochgilphead. The rugged coastline affords endless opportunities to enjoy fishing and birdwatching or sample the delicious local seafood in one of the pretty villages nearby and at Kilmartin Glen (8 miles) visitors will find standing stones stone circles and castles – fascinating evidence of the 5000 year old Ancient Kingdom of the Scots. Lochgilphead offers a variety of shops and a pub serving food is 200 yards away.
