Close to the hostel there are many craft workshops and access to a nice beach and many coastal walks including the famous sea stacks of Duncansby Head where interesting seabirds will accompany you on your way. Then again why not take the option of a day trip to Orkney. A perfect break for birdwatchers, cyclists and coastal walkers.
